<p>A little motivation can go a long way. This means you need to look towards sources of motivation and employ these sources to boost and enhance your desire to stick to your workout plans. Is there a famous actor or athlete that has a physique that you would love to have as your own? Put a picture of such a person in your workout area. There is a reason why so many gyms have photos on display of famous bodybuilding legends. And besides it&#8217;s not a permanent solution to your weight problem. This is just plain common sense that, if you do the deal, you will lose from 1 to 2 pounds a week and keep it off.</p>

So if you eat only 250 calories less than what you burn you&#8217;ll lose about ½ pound per week and if you eat 1000 calories less you&#8217;ll be losing 2 &#8211; 3 pounds a week.</p>

The key to healthy weight loss is to make sure that you&#8217;re getting the maximum nutritional benefit from the food you do eat and you want those foods to be enjoyable. The two things that will derail a weight loss program fast are hunger and eating foods you don&#8217;t like.</p>

We have come a long way in taking care of sick people, but we haven&#8217;t made any progress as a nation in preventing those people from getting sick.</p>
<p>Why do more than 15 million people in the United States have diabetes? Why do we still have more heart problems today than we did 30 years ago? Why is more than 50% of our population on some kind of prescription drug?</p>
<p>We spend more per person on medical care than any other nation in the world. Why is this happening in a country that seems to be able to solve nearly any technological problem? Why can&#8217;t we solve our medical problems? How would life be different for us if we were to be a nation of healthy individuals?</p>

<p>A healthy diet should include a low fat diet plan. All fat is not bad. As a matter of fact our bodies need some fat to function at its best. Some fat is good for us and other fat need to be avoided at all cost. By avoiding bad fat and minimizing consumption of other fats you develop a healthy diet plan.</p>
<p>Avoid all Trans Fat. Trans fat is a process used to extend the life of many processed foods. When you read the packaging it may say specifically trans fat or you may notice &#8220;hydrogenated&#8221; or &#8220;partially hydrogenated&#8221; oils in the ingredients. Avoid these at all costs as they are bad for your heart healthy diet and increase &#8220;bad&#8221; cholesterol. There is no nutrition benefit and the risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity are greatly increased.</p>
<p>Limit Saturated Fat. Red meat, fatty meats like salami, dairy products such as cream and butter, and thicker vegetable oils like coconut, palm, and kernel oil are sources of saturated fats. Your consumption of saturated fat should be limited to less than 10% of your diet. Occasionally lean meat is ok but the protien and other nutrition are better replaced by whole grains, seeds, nuts, beans and other legumes.</p>
<p>Eat Unsaturated Fat. This would includes both poly unsaturated and mono unsaturated fats. A healthy diet would include regular consumption of &#8220;good fat&#8221; from canola and olive oils and most nuts as well as fish and avacadoes. The poly unsaturated fat that the average person needs most is omega-3 found mostly in fish like salmon, tuna and cod. Another great source is Cod Liver Oil.</p>
<p>Fresh Fruit, Raw Vegetables, Seeds, Nuts, Beans and Whole Grains all make a heart healthy diet. Drink plenty of water and natural tea. Get plenty sleep and fresh air. Exercise regularly. These are all keys to healthy lifestyle. If you create a low fat diet plan of 60 to 70% of these groups you will reduce risks of major disease and lose weight.
